A special gift for my descendants
A brilliant idea and a Christmas present from my daughter.
I started to think back to my early childhood and realised I needed to go back further than that to my parents and grandparents for decisions that shaped my life.
I have been researching family history which I can trace back to 1500’s. A brief history of predecessors of how, when and where they lived. Now I can continue with my life using your prompts for reminders.
A great gift to leave my children and grandchildren, there are always questions you wished you asked your parents.

Brilliant idea
Easy to log in, and start answering questions. This was a gift from our daughter, and so far it’s been easy and fun thinking about things I haven’t thought about in years! The layout is simple and gives scope for a lot of detail.
It’s a really clever idea – many of us wish we had asked our parents and older relatives more about their life experiences. Their stories are lost forever if we don’t. StoryKeeper allows us to make a permanent record of our own experiences.

An easy way to preserve family history
I have wanted to write somewhat of a memoir for quite some time. Something for my kids and grandkids to refer to once I’m gone. It was difficult to get started. Without being aware of my intention, my girls gave me Storykeeper as a gift, and it’s been a wonderful way to get started. The weekly questions keep me focused and on track. Even if the question offered is not something I want to write about, it prompts other ideas. The opportunity to add pictures further enhances the experience, ultimately adding to the final product.

Anyone can write a book
Only proper writers can write books can’t they? Well no. Don’t compare writing a thick hard-backed book with running a hurdle race. Both sound like insurmountable challenges. Concentrate on jumping just one fence at a time and it then sounds like an achievable challenge. StoryKeeper invites you to write one chapter/story at a time, gives you inspiration in terms of subject matter and constructs your efforts one at a time to ultimately create a book. But don’t think too far ahead, just concentrate on the first piece. In terms of subject matter, write about what you know and who knows more about your life, your parent’s life and your grandparents life, than you? Now consider how valuable a family record your book would be to your younger family members as they grown up and start to think about their roots……

How does StoryKeeper Work?
Think of StoryKeeper as interviewer, confidant, muse. We allow people of all ages to capture their cherished stories, memories and thoughts via our easy to use online platform.
We send a provocative prompt each week, to which the user can respond. If they wish to respond to a different prompt, they can choose from hundreds already pre-loaded on our platform, or write their own.
We also allow users to add loved ones to their account to write personalised prompts and read some of the stories they have created.
Over time, these stories will accumulate, and when the user is ready to order their book, their stories will be edited and enhanced by our talented in-house writing team to create a beautiful keepsake memory book in just a few clicks, which will be delivered straight to their door!
What's included in the initial purchase?
A StoryKeeper subscription includes unlimited access to our online platform, which can be used to view prompts, create and edit stories, and finally compile and confirm the physical keepsake book that will be delivered to the author’s door!
Up to ten ‘collaborator users’ can also be added to an account. These users will have the ability to create prompts for the author and view existing stories as they are written.
One complete book formatting & layout edit is also included with each StoryKeeper purchase – delivered by our talented in-house writing team.
When the author is ready, their stories will be compiled into a beautiful, hardcover color memory book, which we will deliver for free, anywhere in the US!
Once the initial hardcover book has been created, an unlimited number of additional copies can be ordered at prices starting from $24.99 per book – perfect for gifting to the entire family!
Can I gift StoryKeeper?
A StoryKeeper memory book is a perfect gift for a loved one. Once an account has been activated, the purchaser can opt to use it themselves, or select someone to whom it will be gifted. Many of our customers purchase StoryKeeper for a parent or grandparent.
The beauty of StoryKeeper is that it represents a gift for not only the direct recipient, but also their extended group of family and friends.
Additional copies of the final physical book can also be ordered to distribute amongst your loved ones
Can I add others to a StoryKeeper account?
Absolutely! We encourage family members and loved ones to get involved. They can suggest specific prompts from our repository, or write their own personalized questions to enhance the storytelling experience. This collaborative approach usually enriches the collection of memories and stories produced.
When can I order the physical copy of the book?
The physical copy of your memory book can be ordered at any time. This will typically depend on there being enough content to produce a relatively comprehensive volume of stories.
Most StoryKeeper users order the physical copy of their book 4-6 months after signing up.
Is StoryKeeper suitable for those with limited computer skills?
StoryKeeper is designed to be user-friendly and accessible to individuals of all tech skill levels. Our simple, intuitive interface and guided prompts make it easy for everyone to use StoryKeeper. Furthermore, our platform does not require any downloads!
In addition, each StoryKeeper purchase comes with one full formatting edit and enhancement included, to ensure that all of your stories are perfectly laid out on the physical page.

Can I customize my book?
Users have the option to customize the cover design and layout of their physical memory book. They can choose from a range of templates to make their keepsake book uniquely their own.
Our in-house team is also always on-hand to support with the book creation process – from editing and enhancing story content through our re-writing service, to assisting with book cover design at the time of publication.
