A special gift for my descendants
A brilliant idea and a Christmas present from my daughter.
I started to think back to my early childhood and realised I needed to go back further than that to my parents and grandparents for decisions that shaped my life.
I have been researching family history which I can trace back to 1500’s. A brief history of predecessors of how, when and where they lived. Now I can continue with my life using your prompts for reminders.

Brilliant idea
Easy to log in, and start answering questions. This was a gift from our daughter, and so far it’s been easy and fun thinking about things I haven’t thought about in years! The layout is simple and gives scope for a lot of detail.
It’s a really clever idea – many of us wish we had asked our parents and older relatives more about their life experiences. Their stories are lost forever if we don’t. StoryKeeper allows us to make a permanent record of our own experiences.

An easy way to preserve family history
I have wanted to write somewhat of a memoir for quite some time. Something for my kids and grandkids to refer to once I’m gone. It was difficult to get started. Without being aware of my intention, my girls gave me Storykeeper as a gift, and it’s been a wonderful way to get started. The weekly questions keep me focused and on track. Even if the question offered is not something I want to write about, it prompts other ideas. The opportunity to add pictures further enhances the experience, ultimately adding to the final product.

Anyone can write a book
Only proper writers can write books can’t they? Well no. Don’t compare writing a thick hard-backed book with running a hurdle race. Both sound like insurmountable challenges. Concentrate on jumping just one fence at a time and it then sounds like an achievable challenge. StoryKeeper invites you to write one chapter/story at a time, gives you inspiration in terms of subject matter and constructs your efforts one at a time to ultimately create a book. But don’t think too far ahead, just concentrate on the first piece. In terms of subject matter, write about what you know and who knows more about your life, your parent’s life and your grandparents life, than you? Now consider how valuable a family record your book would be to your younger family members as they grown up and start to think about their roots……

Once you have signed up, you will be contacted by our team via email within the hour, and you can provide some more information on the individual you are looking to remember. They will then kick the message gathering process off for you, making your experience as stress free as possible
Next, invite friends and family to join in. They can easily contribute their own memories, personal messages and images via email. Each contribution adds a unique perspective and enriches the collective tribute.
Once you’re satisfied with the content, we compile these heartfelt contributions into a beautifully designed keepsake book. You have the option to choose from various design customizations to make the book unique and meaningful.
Finally, the printed remembrance book will be delivered to your loved one’s family, free of charge, creating a tangible and lasting tribute that preserves the memory and celebrates the life of the departed individual.

A StoryKeeper Remembrance purchase includes a hardcover, color book of up to 440 pages, filled with messages and images contributed by your friends and family. We do not impose any limitations on the number of contributors or the content included
One complete book edit and enhancement is also included in each StoryKeeper purchase – delivered by our talented in-house editing team.

Do I need to format the remembrance book myself?
We recognize that not everyone may feel comfortable with formatting and editing, especially during such a sensitive period. That’s where our dedicated team comes in. We are here to support you every step of the way.

Can I add others to a StoryKeeper account?

The physical copy of the memorial book can be ordered as soon as the account owner decides – typically once those they have chosen to contribute a message have done so.
